Grant Writing: How to write a successful Marie Skłodowska-Curie fellowship application

15 November @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Event Navigation

The Marie Skłodowska-Curie individual fellowship is an excellent opportunity provided by the European Commission for researchers to get personal funding to conduct research in Europe and beyond. Along with extremely valuable international experience, researchers receive high quality technical training and develop transferable skills. In this talk you will get insightful tips from proposal writer, evaluator and a Marie Skłodowska-Curie fellow Dr. Yuliya Shakalisava. She will provide advice on how to build your CV, choose a host institution, put a research and training plan in place, and emphasize meaningful impact – all for a successful Marie Skłodowska-Curie fellowship application.

This workshop specializes on Marie-Curie grants, but the knowledge gained by this workshop can also be applied for any other grant you may want to write!

Yuliya has worked in multidisciplinary research teams, management and administration in The Netherlands, Ireland and France. With her non-academic activities, Yuliya has extensive experience developing and writing research proposals in different disciplines – with a particular focus on Marie Skłodowska-Curie fellowships. She is a proposal evaluator for the Marie Skłodowska-Curie actions of Horizon 2020.
